Who am I and what am I doing?

My name is Jeremy Farris. I am a writer, an artist, and a father. I’m 43 and happier than I have ever been. I began searching for the truth in my early twenties and have gone on the craziest adventure following through on that search. About a decade ago, I began reading and studying the Bible almost constantly. My journey has twisted and meandered through some really bad decisions over the years. I am now divorced, engaged, and happier than ever before.

The reason I created this space is because I wanted a mountaintop from which I could shout. I have read hundreds of books over the years and learned a great many things. But the one truth that I have found to be the most useful truth of all is the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

God became man and dwelt among us. The single most important event in all of human history was the accomplishment of Jesus’ death and resurrection. An audacious statement to some, but nonetheless true. A heartfelt attempt to prove that statement false will convert the most staunch atheist. Most just will not do the homework.

If you seek the Lord, you will find Him. Or better still, if you are seeking the Lord, he has found you already.
